Check out the video of our epic summer ministry/family road trip. We (The Kitchen Family) spent June in our van traveling the country, doing ministry, and having a blast. We had extended family come and join us for legs of the journey as well (Kristah's sister Sarah -> Colorado in Missouri, My parent's Laurie and Larry in Missouri, and Kristah's parents John and Cindy in Colorado)

We spoke at a few churches, a Christian book conference, saw some ministry friends, made new contacts, and did "research" and gathered images and video for a Route 66 themed devotional we're working on, which will be called Grace 66. To keep the cost low we camped most of the nights in our van at whatever we could find, sometimes state parks, sometimes rv parks, a couple of cabins that were offered free. Despite being on the road for a month, we were able to avoid hotels all together. In the van was a family of 7 (six Kitchens + niece). Overall it was an epic journey.
