It’s a widespread belief, but what if I told you that the concept of tithing, as we commonly understand it, is a myth?

When I looked into it, I was shocked to discover that no law required giving 10% of your income to anyone. What the Bible describes as “tithing” is far more complex, involving three separate tithes, not to mention many more payments. Tithing is a myth!

And here’s the second game-changer: Christians aren’t under the Mosaic Law when it comes to giving anyway. The New Testament reveals a much deeper, richer, and freer approach to generosity—one based on grace, not law.
