Here are 14 reasons from Galatians alone that we’re not under any of Moses’ Law (it is a unit) and four more from Hebrews:

1. We’re no longer under Aaron’s priesthood (Hebrews 7:12).

2. It made nothing perfect (Hebrews 7:18-19).

3. It was fading away (Hebrews 8:13).

4. It was a shadow of things (not the reality) (Hebrews 10:1).

5. It was of the flesh, not the Spirit (Galatians 3:3-5).

6. It puts us under a curse (Galatians 3:10).

7. It was given through mediators (Moses and angels) (Galatians 3:19-20).

8. It couldn’t give life (Galatians 3:21).

9. It was only our tutor until Christ came (Galatians 3:23-25).

10. It couldn’t make us sons; it kept us as God’s servants (Galatians 4:1-7).

11. It was weak and beggarly (Galatians 4:9-10).

12. Observing it prevents the Spirit from forming Christ in us (Galatians 4:19).

13. It represents Mount Sinai, not Jerusalem above (Galatians 4:22- 24).

14. Its followers persecute the children of promise (Galatians 4:29).

15. It was a yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1).

16. It obligates us to follow it completely (Galatians 5:3).

17. It cuts us off from the benefits of Christ because we’ve fallen from grace (Galatians 5:5).

18. It removes the offense of the cross (Galatians 5:11).
