This week, Meta settled a massive lawsuit with US states over how Instagram and Facebook holds kids attention. Teens now get a two-hour daily limit across both apps, muted notifications during school hours and a lock at night, which is great. Even Meta is admitting that the feed just grabs your mind. You know, the Apostle Paul was interested in what grabs the mind, too. And in Colossians, he doesn't start by giving a big list of behaviors. He tells believers where to aim their thoughts. Because your footsteps follow your mindset, right? So Colossians 3:2 says, set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Meta can put a fence around their apps, sure. But they can't tell you where to set your mind. That is the part that God has given you control of. So today, set your mind on things above.

A time limit is a fence. Paul names a direction. If your walk has been wobbly, you might be working on the wrong thing. Work on your mindset and your walk will be worthy. That's the whole argument of Things Above.
